I deleted all my timelines in the other project, with every motion menu video exchanged for a much smaller version. I deleted all my timelines in my old project (with the bigger motion menu video files) to check what's left. Even with using every video several times for my menus it really shouldn't add up to 1GB! in the Built tab the total disk size is still the same! And the project still tells me "Total Menu Size Exceeds Limit". 15mb per video (before that they were almost 30).īut. Everything is linked and fine and in the Encore explorer/finder/project window they are shown with the correct size. replaced the files in my finder so Encore can relink them.Īnd it does. Went back to Premiere and exported all those menus again. I'm pretty proud of it.īut now this error appeared and I thought I have to make sure my motion menu videos are smaller so the total size of all the added up menus aren't above 1GB. My Menu structure is pretty complex and I have several versions of all the Menus, depending on which subtitle is marked and highlighted and the motion menu background changes accordingly.

How does it compare to DVDSP? What about After Effects? How does Motion stack up against it? I guess if I go that route, I'll have to learn two new programs.Another problem with Encore.
It retails for $1599 I believe and the Educational Store sells it for $599.
When I went to their website I did see the Premium CS3 Suite which also includes After Effects.
I use Final Cut and am not all that interested in premier Pro, only Encore. I see you can't buy Encore without buying CS3, which includes Premier Pro CS3. I also see that some third party companies make templates for Adobe Encore. I know DVDSP can author an HD-DVD but since this is a dead format I am interested in what Encore can offer. I film mostly weddings and other events and would like the capability of burning more than just a standard DVD. Is anyone here using Adobe Encore for DVD authoring? I am interested in being able to burn Blu-Ray discs and know of a few people who use FCP for editing and Adobe Encore for DVD Authoring.
